Local + Global Impact

More Than A Purchase... It’s Impact
From Day Dot was built on the belief that when families are supported, communities thrive. That’s why we partner with organisations like Sparrow, Share the Dignity, and Diamond Women... supporting women, mothers and families locally and globally with practical resources, care and hope.

Every bag, pack of nappies or wipes you purchase helps us continue giving back,  because motherhood is never meant to be done alone.

DIAMOND WOMEN

A Diamond’s worth does not change in value due to her circumstance or environment. We started Diamond Women in 2006 with a heart to meet women that feel pressured or isolated in an unplanned pregnancy. Facing the prospect of parenting without support. Not knowing their options. Just knowing how hard it is to make a decision facing an unplanned pregnancy, we wanted women to know that there is support out there, that they do have options and that they can be confident in whatever challenge may come their way.

Our organisation has continued to flourish with our numbers doubling every year. We offer the highest form of support, professionally and personally, with all our services seeking to relieve women of the anxiety unplanned pregnancy can cause by meeting both their immediate and long-term needs.  Our areas of service concentrate on the perinatal period as we seek to reduce the prominent incidence of mental health disorders during this stage of life. We are proud to offer a variety of services covering information on options, pregnancy support, counselling, advocacy, material assistance, referrals, our unique mentorship program and parenting programs.

SHARE THE DIGNITY

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on-the-ground difference to the lives of women, girls and those who menstruate who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, domestic violence or poverty. We distribute period products to those in need and work to achieve menstrual equity here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

We are proud to partner with over 3,000 charities nationally, helping them to assist the women, girls and those who menstruate who desperately need access to period products. This is achieved through our Dignity Drives and Dignity Vending Machines. We also collect and distribute bags filled with essential items to the people we support at Christmas time through our annual It’s in the Bag campaign.
